Matching Grant!

December 15, 2014

Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.” – Veteran educator Rita Pierson

As the year draws to a close, we have been trying harder than ever to make sure the next school year brings in better options for our kids. In doing this we have the constant support of the parents, the young tutors, the volunteers, our staff and of course you, the donors and sponsors!

It is with great thrill then, that we would like to announce that we’ve been awarded a matching grant by the SG Foundation! Any donation made before Jan. 1, 2015, will be matched dollar for dollar up to $15,756 – this means if you have matching gifts at work your gift can be tripled!

Children Happy

At Empowerment International, we strive to champion each of our children. Each is full of potential that can only be realized when we keep her on the path of education and growth.

Thank you for considering Empowerment International for your year-end gift. It’s because of your generosity that nearly 350 Nicaraguan children and teens are given an extra chance at success through educational programming, home visits, peer tutoring, counseling, community involvement, scholarships, career counseling, school supplies, uniforms and retention and enrichment programs including dance, sports, photography, biking club and more.

Your donation made before Jan. 1 will have extra impact to help a child!

Our graduation and retention rates are over 95 percent.
Please give 100 percent of these kids that opportunity to be the most likely to succeed.
