The team at Empowerment International is a diverse cross-section of professionals and volunteers who work virtually from the far corners of the earth. If you would like to get involved, either by working virtually from your hometown or joining us in Nicaragua, we would love for you to be involved.
See our current opportunities below and note that if you have a skill and desire to work with us, we most likely have some way you can help! Please complete our volunteer application, and someone will be in contact with you shortly.
If you have passion for our cause and time to spare there is a good chance you will find a place in our volunteer family. We have opportunities for both ground volunteers as well as virtual volunteers. Since our needs are as varied as our applicants, we request each volunteer fill out our volunteer application so we can discover if your skills and interests meet our current needs. If not, we can often refer you to a like minded organization.
If you are interested in helping, please complete the volunteer application, then send us your current CV to [info(@)empowermentinternational.org] and we will be in contact soon.
Note: to volunteer directly with the children, you will need to speak intermediate level Spanish and be able to spend at least 2 months in Nicaragua with us. Volunteering with us is completely free (no program fees) and we do not offer any type of housing, food or stipend. In addition, for the protection of our children, you may be asked to have your background checked if working directly with them.
Our local team is 100% local. It is something that we pride ourselves on and we wish to continue. If you are Nicaraguan and think you have the background to work with us, please submit a resume and cover letter to: [info(@)empowermentinternational.org]
